The Changing Face of Mining Embedding EDI & Indigenous Inclusion
Показать описание
I met Brandon Harris at CIM in May at the Women In Mining reception. We immediately hit it off as we discussed various strategies to help equity-seeking people feel like mining was the industry for them. Brandon has creative and exciting projects on the go to develop opportunities for Indigenous people and women.
We both believe service providers must partner with project developers and operators to enable social impact; otherwise, change may remain elusive.
Join me and Peter as we discuss our responsibilities as service providers, how to embed EDI, and how we provide a step-change for Indigenous inclusion.
Brandon Harris is the Co-owner and COO of Peter Lucas Project Management, a project services company from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, serving the mining sector across Canada. Brandon is a Civil Engineer with 15 year’s experience leading mining and infrastructure capital programs as a public servant and later as a business owner. Brandon is the proud father of three boys and spends his limited free time serving on not-for-profit boards supporting local charities and economic development.
