A serious personal connection for me. I was working for a painting contractor in 1990 and was sent, in the company van, to a site further north. It was a very twisty road, the kind you'd like to ride a motorcycle on. I was swooping and cornering nicely.

The highway ended at a 4 way stop. I pulled out, got just across across the intersection... and the right ball joint tore out. If this had happened a little earlier, at road speed, I would have either died or been seriously injured.

This song was my nonstop celebratory earworm for about 3 days.

I was young when this came out, but in 99 I was 18 and had my first longterm GF, and this song was a staple in every club we went to. Takes me back to those years. It didnt last of course and we split but those wouldnt trade for the world. Cant beat 80s and 90s.
