Im a Stop Motion animator and I have to say, that I don't like to use Sticky tac, because you wont get all of it off your Legos and most the time you doesn't even need it. Like walking or having the Minifigure standing in a certain angle. Of course if you want to make the arms and Head moving, you need sticky tac, but you can also make a good Stop Motion Video without moving arms and Hand like this.
I know it from experience.
