JVC DLA-Z1 4K Laser Projector Review

The Z1 not marks JVC's first native 4K projector but also includes a laser light source that promises a better HDR performance. However what is the cost in terms of both price and black levels?

The truth is that at this price you cannot have disapointing black levels or too much noise. Generaly the projection market has to evolve, combining low cost light rejection screens and low cost anamorphic lenses. 4k projection and laser light sourse must also become more affordable in front projection because big oled screens are hitting the market very hard and the quality they provide is top notch.
I am curious to see if projectors will survive in the fututre.

Your review this 35 grand laser projector by JVC, which lets be honest a large majority off us can't afford even in our wildest dreams, why don't you review the Epson LS10500 laser projector which has been available now for sometime & a lot more affordable?

Yeah, I'd certainly pay over thirty grand for poor blacks and terrible noise levels. Way to go JVC.

They should really update that horrible menu system. It's a pain to navigate and calibrate.
