I don't think you can really compare A71 with A72 right now. A71 has gone through a lot of software updates for performance improvement. A72 is still new

The A72 looks better with the matte finish. Even if the CPU just a tiny bit slower, the stereo speakers and the IP-67 Water resistant is more than make up for it. Oh and don't forget that extra 500mAh battery and the smaller front camera.
A72 is the clear winner.

Kinda sad that I bought my Galaxy A71 just 3 weeks before they launched the A72.

A lot of users here in the Philippines have experienced faulty Amoled Display on A71 including mine. Too bad, the warranty has expired, so I paid 6k php for replacement. The new Amoled Display is chinese made
