Aqueon quiet flow 3 E internal power filter (exposed)

This tiny filter produces constantly produces over 50 decibals in noise and it's not even powerful. The name of the product sounds western but the motor inside is actually made from some Chinese company.

What you are hearing in this video is pure motor noise. Not water.

If you are looking for a quiet filter for your tank, it's definitely not this. The name. Quiet flow is nothing more than a name they included to their line of product to trick people.

Sounds like a new impeller problem, sometimes they're like that. It's the part inside the filter that spins and sucks up water. I have larger filter that did the same but as soon as I took it out and applied Vaseline on the impeller (the part that feels like a stone), it didn't make that noise. Occasionally it does, but when I checked it was because something was stuck in there. I am yet to review this as I ordered mine for my shrimp tank and it hasn't arrived yet.

Unless if it wasn't. There's mixed reviews on this filter. Sometimes it works well for some people, sometimes it doesn't. Also, none of the filters that advertise as "quiet" aren't actually quiet, lol.
