Broadcast Journalism Showreel: Lydia Houghton

I achieved a First Class Honours Degree in Broadcast Journalism from The University of Salford. I began my studies in 2020 and graduated in 2023. I’ve put together a compilation of my university work - including both television and radio reporting.

I’m now completing a Master's Degree in Creative Writing at Keele University. Despite changing career paths, the skills and experience I gained during my undergraduate degree continue to be beneficial.

In that final clip about the perfect time to put up Christmas decorations, I was trying to figure out why the day after Thanksgiving wasn't an option, took me a hot second to remember it's an american holiday 😂😂😭😭 It looks like my brain is still on summer mode. I enjoyed this compilation of your work. Also, love that black and pink blazer in the first clip.
