This guide actually makes a difference in the overall output on fire mage. The mobility and kiting you’re able to do with all the instant procs on top of understanding mage mobility makes this build so damn good. I went from low-mid to consistent top score on match leaderboards in dmg. Do not sleep on fire! Thank you!

Flamestrike has been in dire need of a complete overhaul for years. It's just too awkward of an ability to have when you are supposed to be spamming it back to back with Hot Streak. If Flamestrike wasn't a targetted spell and it just applied to your current target (maybe with a talent?) it would be a lot more smooth and enjoyable to use, but obviously you lose the utility of being able to snipe people around pillars or hit people in stealth with it. You're basically forced to play with Sticky Targetting when you play with Flamestrike, and i absolutely cannot stand Sticky Targetting.

And for single target? Is it normal that as fire mage you have to cast a lot? I barely get instant Pyros.

Imo the main downside of this build is the fact that you must use your mouse to land flamestrike which mess mobility a bit
