it's funny that this is my favorite track of you guys's because i generally can't stand dubstep music, but i remember hearing/seeing this video for the first time in 2015 shortly after discovering you ("hanging on" was my intro to the whole beast) and being completely consumed in this entire experience for a good week or two.

several other people down in these comments have said it perfectly, the reason the style works here, particularly referring to the dubstep break, is because it fits into the context of the lyrical content and theme of the song, it feels like part of a cohesive artistic experience rather than fan service of any kind. instead of simply making us go crazy and nod our heads (although it does often have that effect as well) it unnerves us, shakes us to our core and takes us on an adventure.

that and the rapid-fire filtersweep synth chords on the verses are so thick you could cut them with a knife.

a year and two months later you guys are still my favorite current band. love the new single from genevieve, and hoping to see some more content from both of you in the near future so you can take my money and change my life even more!
