College courses are taught to adults not “Kids”. This isn’t Kindergarten.

A son of an Italian immigrant questioning the efficacy and integrity of the history of African Americans' presence in the United States is the most disingenuous thing I have ever seen!

A lesson DeSantis is teaching us all is he won’t hesitate to use power to control our lives the way he sees fit.

As others already mentioned, if they won't allow AP African studies then let's get rid of the European studies, French studies, German studies, Latin studies and Asian AP courses also.

"Don't push an agenda on our kids, " says DeSantis as he pushes his agenda on kids.

Banning books is against the first amendment and promotes ignorance. Knowledge is power! Every American has the right to learn about whatever subject that interests them.

Basically when I heard the controversy I was outraged but after reading the details of the curriculum itself I fully agree with Desantis as far as the part of AP studies being removed and the controversial narratives in no way connect us with our true history..

Is this for real? He needs to get the facts. Black History is apart of History and should be apart of any school curriculum. We lean not to repeat the same mistakes from the past. Look forward toward the future.

I get it now, I just heard a bunch of people saying that he was blocking African History, and calling him a racist. In all truth he meant African American Studies...
