As a warning, the claim made around 23:55 that whilst sharing music, "if an intercom session were to open they would be able to talk over the top of that music" is incorrect. If you open an intercom session whilst sharing music, the second rider's music will stop. Similarly, if the intercom is open, if you start sharing music the intercom will close. Basically, you can't talk on intercom and both listen to music at the same time.

Thanks for this great tutorial! My only concern which may be a challenge, is to operate two buttons at the same time while riding. If not for that, I would seriously consider these. Thanks again.

Very happy and impressed with our spirit HD duo.

Sound is crystal clear and we have no problems in hearing each other even at motorway speeds (we have volume level set quite low and it’s still perfectly clear and loud enough )

The microphones do a great job of eliminating wind and any other noises. They actually cut off and only reactive on voice vocal speech, this is great as it avoids wind noise and also other noises such as sniffles etc that are annoying on an open intercom. Sometimes this feature can lead to a split 2nd delay & from the 1st word being fully heard, But most of the time it works perfectly with no delay, but the occasional delay is a small price to pay for unit not to be picking up wind and any other white noise etc that can be annoying.

I think the spirit HD is great and for the money offers a quality bit of kit.

Just fitted the Spriti to my helmet today and can honestly say it's awesome! Simple to use and sounds great even on standard 32mm speakers. I will be upgrading to the JBL speakers when I can though. Fantastic comms unit with the simplicity of use! What more could we ask for.

This is my first purchase with Cardo and I am super satisfied with it. I'll get a more expensive one later on. But for right now this is perfect for me. I only ride by myself so there is no serious need for multiple riders connectivity.

Thanks for the breakdown. I got the HD version coming in the mail for my wie and I. I've used sena in the past but hoping these will be just as good if not better. Love the price point on them for sure!

Just bought the HD today to replace my Sena unit. No guide inside, just a flyer with a Q-Code. I found the Cardo video anyway, but I think it should have instructions inside the box. Just a note - I ripped the box badly, trying to open it, which would give me problems returning to the vendor, so I hope I won't have to. Looks a lot more aerodynamic than my Sena, which is one of the main reasons I chose it. Wind noise on the Sena has been horrendous.

23:59 says that we can talk over music sharing. But we can't seem to get it working! And I've read many forums that, you can only share music but not "talk while sharing music". I feel like I was scammed. Because I bought this so that my me and my back ride could talk while sharing music. Please help.

absolut perfect tutorial wanted to buy the cardo classic solo annd i'll do ! cuz it's perfect for my further use but good lord the number of activation i will have to remember is insane xD next time add some vocal control might be usefull to be easier to use/remember ! on all the rest u'r on top of perfection !
