Drift Ghost Camera and Fly Trekker Helmet Setup and Review

A review of my helmet cam setup for motovlogging using the Drift HD Ghost camera and the Fly Trekker helmet.

I discuss ways of eliminating camera wind noise, and how I modified the Fly Trekker to reduce wind drag.

I am convinced the Drift Ghost is the best camera for motovlogging because of the styling and the rotating lens. It fits well on any helmet and can be fine-tuned to keep the horizon where you want it vertically, and level horizontally. Plus, the full-function remote makes it a very easy camera to use while riding.

I have had some glasses that where like goggles when I was riding street bikes, just for some air. I have not used them with the dual sport helmet so far, but I am sure i will when it warms back up.

Good video ! I really like my Drift HD Ghost. I have 3 of the Drift Ghost S cameras now and I let my son use the HD Ghost.

Great video. I have a Gopro hero 4 and as you say it sticks out like a pole dancer at a convent, but the video is excellent so can't really complain. Good health to you Sir. TTFN.

"Kind of loud" is an understatement. I was looking at these and got to try one out. It must have been the most uncomfortable and loudest helmet I have tried. I left it in the store.

I have a GoPro mounted on top of the helmet and it's quite a sight. There is quite a lot of drag at highway speeds as well. But I am so committed to the brand now with the mounts, batteries and other accessories that I am planning to buy a Hero 3+ or 4. But I do like your camera. My first camera was the Countour HD (I still have it) and it's got some of the same features as your Drift. You have a nice discreet setup.

Just hoping the best for you. I wish you could afford a better helmet? Maybe Arai?. Seems like the Fly Trekker is sort of a bottom line helmet? I've seen it for less than $200 US. I get that many of the helmets on the market meet the requirements, but your head is worth more than the bike. Love your vids– keep up the good work.
