It's almost impossible to dismantle close to 1700 years of church traditions & rituals, but there is hope, one generation at a time. Maranatha!

Hello Dr Tom, your videos are blowing my mind. Thanks for the courage to overtly say about this topic.
How can we have your doctoral thesis please? Have you launched it in a book format?
God bless you.

Yes Edifying one another is the true purpose of a Christian assembly. And the other important component is how to edify. Church is about Christ and every discussion should be centered on Christ Jesus. Specially we Gentiles should emphasize on Paul's letters. Paul is an Apostle of us, the Gentiles, he is our teacher. Even when we read the books of the old testament, we should look for the messiah on the text. We are in Christ and we can only grow being in Christ. I am saying this because the other big issue or confusion in church is, the mixing of law and grace. And this would be sorted out when Christians keep on discussing, instead of waiting to be fed their entire life by one person.

My heart rejoices to hear the intent of Christ's ekklesia. But my heart is beyond heavy to recognize that I may never be in a truly functioning body of Christ. I am reminded of the only hope that I have is in Jesus, looking forward to the coming age, the new Eden 😊
Hebrews 11:39-40
These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised,  40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

This so echoes with Paul's words in Eph 4:13 - unity of the faith, knowledge of the Son of God to maturity goes together. Thank you for your videos.

Hi Tom, What does the mid-week Bible study look like in your view?

I am wondering the same, how do you get rid of the deeply entrenched church tradition that took 1700 years to get there? The only way i can see is a gradual return to the first century church over hundreds of years. so it wont happen in my lifetime, but we can all lay the foundation today.
