i have such a strong love for both black metal albums but this album is just superior in so many ways. this album got me through one of the worst times in my life & it got to the point where music was one of the only ways i was actually able to keep calm or express myself. i was also struggling with addiction during that time. & listening to this while being drunk/high is such a different experience from when you listen to it sober. this album took me places, listening to it, feeling it physically. dean blunts work on both of these albums is absolutely phenomenal
