Fun Fact: Those wolves were originally going to be involved in Gaston’s death scene too. Gaston would’ve survived his fall off the castle after his battle with Beast with only a broken leg and then those wolves would’ve viciously surrounded him and leaped upon him to devour him alive, but this was cut from the movie because the creators felt it would’ve been too gruesome for children.

However, this idea was later used for another movie, specifically the Lion King where Scar survived his fall off the top of Pride Rock after his battle with Simba and then had the hyenas viciously surround him and leap upon him to devour him alive.

The Beast must've been hauling major ass to reach Belle in time to save her. That's what got me the most about this scene and the one prior when he scares her away. The Beast realised he royally screwed up (hhehehe), and ran as fast as he could after her to apologise. Once he saw the wolf tracks, the turbo kicked in and The Beast sprinted non-stop until he reached her and, without a moment's rest, wrought havoc on a pack of very hungry and desperate wolves with every ounce of his remaining strength. Awesome scene :

The one that Philippe kicked when he was stuck on the tree would've been severely injured if not dead. Horses have a very powerful kick.

left alone in the West Wing, he consulted his magic mirror again, demanding to know where she was going, and that's how he knew about the wolves. But he'd have to make up a lot of speed, although he certainly proved from his "WHAT?!?!?"-temper tantrum sprint that speed isn't a problem for him, especially when he's leaping and galloping on all fours. By the time he finally reached her and confronted the wolves, I imagine the adrenaline was pumping big-time!

Lumiere and Cogsworth possibly told him that Belle had ran away.

Such a scene from the classic.

1:54 I think this wolf is dead after been aggressively thrown towards the tree by the Beast

2:10 - 2:14 Belle: He does need me

The horse sounds were also used for the cave trolls along with other animals to create the roar from the lord of the rings and hobbit films.

1:33 Admit it, this was recycled from Lady And The Tramp fought off the alley dogs that pursue Lady.

The Beast may have put up such a fight against those pack of wolves to save Belle, but my favorite Disney princess Belle is definitely no damsel in distress fighting back against a pack of wolves to protect Philippe wacking one wolf with a stick. I mean I don't think anyone would be able to defeat a pack of wolves without help, which The Beast luckily decided to go save her. Lumiere, and Cogsworth were likely the ones who told him to after he scared Belle away, then seeing her storm out of the castle.🏰🤍💙🐺🐴

Here's a what if battle: beast vs Mufasa? Battle to death, no retreats, no hold back i.e. both bloodlusted, and no outside help on either party. Who wins and why

0:31 you can CLEARLY tell the wolf on left is male and the wolf on right is female the left one has longer canines, (male wolves have longer canines than females) the left one has broader forehead, (males have broader skulls and faces than females) the left one has a wider nose pad, and the left one has a longer muzzle

1:19 We would have seen a barefoot scene of Belle if that wolf chomped her flat off, but she was lucky to dodge.

0:10 Me: All this shouting about! Now what happened?

Cogsworth: She ran out and...

Me: I know, I've never seen anyone rushed down the stairs and out like that. I thought "all that fats in the fire...."
