IS JWS3309 MAZDA Volvo Transmission fluid the same as T-IV Toyota Fluid

If you have Mazda that requires JWS3309 Transmission oil and you want to do an oil change we found out that the Toyota T-IV Transmission fluid is actually the same as the Mazda and Volvo JWS3309. Many Volvo cars will use the JWS3309 transmission fluid which means that according to what I found it may be the same as the Toyota T-IV. Toyota T-IV is cheaper than JWS3309 transmission fluid.
Always double check with your dealer before you actually use Toyota T-IV.

THANK YOU THATS WAS VERY HELPFUL INFORMATION. Where I'm from the dealer really raise up their prices for OEM parts and fluids.

I just used Mannol JWS-3309 in my Ford Fiesta AW80-40 U440E and it slips like hell.. I added another liter, thinking the level may be low (the dipstick reading is always showing high though) and the result was the same. Any clue? I didn't have this when I put Mercon fluid -by mistake-. I drained that totally and cleaned the valve body as well. Do I have worn clutches? I'll drain again and use Toyota T-IV..

My 2008 VW Rabbit 2.5 with the 09G automatic transmission requires Aisin Type T-IV. Is this the same as the Toyota type T-IV and the Mobil 3309?

Thanks for the time you put in doing the research! Modern transmissions are like a casino these days, and the consumer is very much on his own to figure out the "what/when/where/how" questions associated with them. Don't expect much help from dealerships, or even manufacturers, because they're looking after themselves. I found a third option on transmission fluid, assuming your tranny is manufactured by Aisin. This product is also sold by Amazon, and other online retailers:
