As mentioned in the description section of this video, this bow also comes with optional limb stops and a thinner grip which were not mentioned during the recording of this video. Thank you all for watching and God bless ya.

Even though this review is 4 years old it helped me a lot with my decision making.
I did try this bow on a 30" and liked it.
Now I got my own in 33" and loved it more than the 30". That tiny bit more forgiveness came into the factor. Cheers and a Blessed New Year to you and your family Sean.

I have been shooting the bear kuma for 2 months now and I really like the bow I have shot some of my best scores with the kuma but as with any bow its what feels good to the shooter, for me I really like the bow from the beginning and the more I shoot it the more I like it, its a very forgiving bow to shoot and is very fast for your reviews.

I bought that bow when it first came out. And you can change that grip to a thinner one. It comes with two grips. I love that bow. I will never change to another bow.

Hey Sean. Good job again! I had a chance to make it out to a couple of bow shops the last 2 weeks. I shot this bow. I did think the camo pattern that was on it was one of the coolest looking. But the grip and how easy it came off the back wall wasn’t for me. I also shot a couple Mathews, Hoyt, Dartons and a couple pse’s. I really like the PSE Evolve and the pse decree hd 32. I’m sorta bummed that I didn’t get to shoot any elites but there isn’t any dealers in my area. I ended up getting the 2017 PSE Decree hd 32. I really enjoyed shooting that bow. Thanks again for taking the time to make these videos.

Thanks for doing a review on the new Bear bows. You left out a couple details but most people already know they also come with limb stops that you can throw on if the back wall isn't solid enough for you. And they come with a extra grip a narrow one in case you don't like the wide grip. I love your reviews so keep them coming man.

As was said below, the Kuma comes with limb stops that when installed give this bow a very solid back wall. Also not stated was that a second slimmer grip comes with the bow free of charge. I purchased the exact bow Sean tested. One thing that I wish was mentioned was how little to no hand shock there is at the shot with this bow. I shoot every manufacturers new models every year and in my mind the Bear Kuma wins hands down in the Price/Performance category. My oldest son purchased the Triax a few weeks ago and IMO the Kuma is every bit it’s equal in speed and quietness for HUNDREDS less. Thank you for your review Sean, keep up the good work 👍

Did you try changing it from cable stops to the limb stops to help the back wall?

I found this bow at usd550, I can only bring bear archery bows to my country, none of the other brands are shipping to my country. What’s do you think, go for it or is there any bear bow more recommended nowadays for a similar price tag ? Thanks

I’m seeing that Bear is the only company with duel string dampeners. What are the advantages and disadvantages to having two?

I just bought a Kuma 30 and can't get it to tune. The cables keep slipping. Anyone else having trouble with this?

I’m between the legit and the kuma 30. I like to buy once instead of buy, sell and buy a better one later. What do you think, I’m complete new to this

I have a question and hope u can help I’m new to bow hunting the past year I went up on a tree by my bean field every time I went up on the side facing trail where I have an easy shot I don’t see nothing but when I go to the back side of the same tree deer come out is there a reason I’m still and quite every time or is it just a coincidence

And do you tune the bows before you shoot them....or just out of the box...without tuning them..

I shot the Kuma at the Outdoor show, had the same experience as you with the back wall. Even for string stops, wow its spongy. The rep said there were limb stops that come with the bow. I asked if he had one with a set installed, of course they didn't. On the plus side, it was quite. I expected more from a flagship bow though. My personal opinion.

I agree with others. It seems to be a bit jumpy on the back wall and lets down too easy. Thanks for the review!!!!
