Apologies, Isoroku Yamamoto was an Admiral not a General.

The saddest part of war is that, only generals are remembered by history not the brave soldiers who fought in the battlefield.

Władysław Anders History (and Poland during WW2) is like an American blockbuster but in REAL LIFE
being tortured by the Soviet in Lubyanka jail (when at the beginning Nazi and Soviet were together... ) He was liberated because the wind turned for Soviet, he formed a new army with polish civilian's from the gulags and the few officers that's escaped of Katyń massacre, to join the west where polish soldiers already fought with Allies.
With is army he participate on strong battle's during WW2 like Monte Cassino (polish victory)
After war he stay in England and was destituted of his grades and Polish nationality by the communist government in occupied Poland.
In 1970 he was inhumed at Monte Cassino cimetierry with his soldiers, that was is last wishes
In 1989 at the fall of the communism he was rehabilited.
REAL WAR HERO that haved never search the celebrity.
Honor i Chwała Bohaterom
