I've seen it go too far in supermarkets- like - a guy in his 50s being asked for ID to prove his age when he was trying to buy a bottle of wine. My sons still sometimes get asked for age proof ID, and they are all over 30. Some shop workers literally have no clue how old people are.

It is annoying if you dont drive and dont holiday abroad because you will have no id that would be accepted.
