That slow rate of fire is also an advantage for 1v4 fights where reloading is not an option

AKM is one of my overall favourite weapons, you forgot to mention that when putting it on single shot and using a 6X scope it can snipe effectively

Man, the AKM is really such a slept on weapon.
Back when PUBG Lite PC still exists, AKM with 3x scope was my favorite gun in Arena and Battle royale coz its was just really effective than the M4.
Now back in PUBGM, i still sometimes use that meta but not as often since the gameplay here is a bit different. But it is still a solid weapon combo when i can use it right 😅

I don't know why but whenever I use AKM in close range, I feel some sort of extra confidence that I will beat the enemy in 1 v 1 easily. So just because of that confidence, I am an all time akm user.

since we are talking about the AKM I'm going to ask a question out of the context is someone having terrible gaming experience after the latest update? in the last dragon ball event I hadn't any sort of lag or stutters even in a hotdrop with 30 player around but in this event everything is glitchy and laggy and the game become unplayable at some point that i would avoid the event sometimes. (I have iPad 8th gen)

Akm laggs in low-end devices
Its hard to connect bullets in close range fight in a low-end device

In spite of all those disadvantages, I would always prefer AKM as the main assault weapon....If I pick AWM, I would take AKM and drop M416...AKM is okay for colse-mid range fights and AWM is for mid and long range
