Thanks for the breakdown. I like it! Working on filling up a couple other ETFs at the moment but EQCL is on my radar for sure.

I really like some of the products that Horizons have been coming out with lately. BKCL and ENCL are on my buy list. Got a few others on my watchlist.

Thank you for covering this. I think it's a legit way to simplify and diversify, while still having that high income that people desire. :)

I really like EQCL, 12% yeild and would suspect to see some overall growth as well for a decent total return !

EQCL is a top contender to add to the covered call etf investing arsenal. My only hesitation at the moment are the developed markets and emerging markets ETFs. It doesn’t look like they own their underlying assets. Some other strategy is at play there. Although if all checks out I wonder how likely Horizons would be to add those ETFs into their covered call suite. Would boost yield for sure especially with the 40%+ weighting. Again it’s a top contender but I must dive deeper into understanding where are the underlying assets for the developed markets and emerging markets ETFs.

Picked up some Eqcl last week. Only thing I’d like to see is for the volume to pick up

EQCL sounds promising. We’re very happy with XEQT and will keep it for the long term.

They could make a non-leveraged 100% equity asset allocation covered call ETF. EQCC? Haha. I’m happy sticking to my strategy of VFV, VDY, VIU, and VEE (basically components of VEQT) for growth and ESPX, ETSX for the income portion of my portfolio. Mostly because as we saw here there’s no covered calls on the developed ex NA and emerging portion anyways, and I really love ESPX and ETSX. They are just so bread and butter, plain and simple income products.

Hi Adrian, using your calculator at Canada stock channel, HDIV is outperforming HDIF by a big margin . HDIV is 2% and HDIF is showing -9% total returns !!!! please comment. Thank you

Added EQCL to my portfolio near the end of October. HEQL, I may add later on. I do like XEQT for capital growth as well.

DFN great opportunity right now. 31 cent discount to nav on December 6th. Dec 6 nav = $14.83. Last chance to get a 27% dividend
