If you think this is a story of a fangirl living her dreams of having romance with her idol no you're wrong. Definitely wrong. This movie brought me to the real societal issues happening in our world right now. Brilliant plot and acting! Kudos!!

I just finished watching this on Netflix right now. I must say, grabe, ang intense! Sobrang galing nilang dalawa to the point na halo halong emosyon na yung nafeel ko. Ang tapang ni Paulo and Charlie. Grabe, grabe kudos to all thr staff at sa writers ng prod na ito. 💯

I've watched the other trailer, the one for TIFF, the feels is different from this. This one is lighter, one that's more suitable to the taste of masang pilipino--almost mainstream. This, for me, is a genius move because this will attract more Filipino viewers that will be exposed to other flavors of Philippine cinema, those of darker themes. Hoping for good public reception for this movie.

Also, Charlie Dizon is a talent to watch out for!

Just watched. It's a good movie. It gives a very important lesson that obsession is very unhealthy. Many people these days are so obsessed with a person/substance that they overlook the bad qualities/harmful side effects. It is worth the watch.

Fan Girl is probably my new fave Tonette Jadaone film. It’s different, genius and raw. Thoughts are still processing and man, you gotta prepare for it. And I’m excited for everyone to see how powerful Charlie Dizon is. Overall, Fan Girl is an experience. You should see it.

PUTANG INA, This is such a BOLD & BRILLIANT film. Antoinette Jadaone put something different and intriguing on the table. The movie actually tackles about several issues: sexism/inferiority of women, violence against women, family issues(poor parenting and upbringing) sexual assault, drug consumption/addiction, obsession & fantasies. I'm out of words to say, Kudos and hats off to the great people behind this film. 👏👏🎬

Ang daming na-butthurt sa interpretation ko about the movie especially the "Violence against women" (with EMOTIONAL & VERBAL ABUSE pa nga) which was clearly shown in the film. No person of any gender deserves to experience violence or abuse and for the record I'm not a feminist but I guess yung mga affected sa comment ko are mysogynist and chauvinist pigs. :)

The reason why i love this movie, the trailer didnt give away the main storyline of this movie. The reason why maraming nagulat sa plot kasi hindi pinamigay ss trailer yung plot. Congratulations to the whole crew/staff. Hakot awards sa MMFF! 🖤
