Your honesty is what is showing up on most perfume forums from folks that are true perfume heads. Because they aren't making content or need PR, I trust their reviews more and it's a NO for them too. I appreciate you told the truth and are saving folks money.

I think they fucked up bad on the marketing on this one. I feel like so many people aren't getting what was marketed and I love Olivier Cresp, the perfumer. There's no way that the brief would have been approved if he didn't bring exactly what they asked for. I saw a lot of people defending that the reason it isn't what people thought was because they don't understand gourmand and gourmand doesn't need to be super sweet, one comment that Mona actually had hearted on her video. It really pissed me off, I have over 100 bottles of niche and some designer fragrances in my library and this is the first time I ever paid attention to their brand because it was MARKETED as super sweet gourmand dream... you can't get mad at a consumer for believing they will get what you tell them they will. Major fumble for the brand in my opinion.

By the notes you would think it would be a yummy gourmand but nooo alot of youtubers that reviewed this scent smell a lot of that bergamot note I haven't smelled it yet and I wanted it cuz the notes sound amazing but now I don't know🙄 ty for ur review girly ❤

Wow. I just saw her video talking about it and she made it seem like it was straight up pistachio with all the sweet notes on the bottle. If it’s pulling more floral, I’ll pass

Great review! I agree this could be disappointing if the expectations are gourmand. I think to like this you had to like fresh/woody notes because this fragrance does change from initial application. You are correct the dry down is different from the opening. Have you ordered the Amazon Pistachio Body Cream yet and paired it with Yum? 😊
