Natural Hair Journey THE BIG CHOP. Styling my TWA

Yall I'm 30 flirty and thriving. My hair was completely heat damaged and I was not feeling it anymore. I felt like I needed to release and blossom into a new lady lol. so I cut my hair. I hope y'all enjoy this video or find inspo from this video. I will be making more natural hair content and still doing protective styles. Now the braids twist and locs might not be done on my head anymore but I will still have clients coming in for these styles so don't worry.

It’s better to cater to your hair porosity type first. Most new naturals so eager to see their curls or coils. Your hair has an already defined curl pattern. My hair started curling up soon as I started chopping lol so I don’t need much product. I been natural since 2017. Cater to your porosity and texture not so much the curl/coil pattern. Because most type 4 women will lead you astray because I been through it. GOOD LUCK 🫶🏽

Try either Uncle Funky Daughter's Curly Magic for light hold curl definition, or Aunt Jackie Don't Shrink for more hold. My hair is 4b/4c and I was able to get both to work with adding definition to my curl pattern. Also, you can experiment with adding product on damp hair vs soak and wet hair to see if it makes a difference in your curl definition. Congrats on the big chop!
