What is the advantage of not having dual in the select? Is it going to improve the performance in the database? or Is it only for reducing the coding or typing effort for Application Developers? I mean to ask as a DBA, do we get any benefit in the database side?

Hello Connor, there is a typo mistake in the 1st statement you run on 23c, you wrote "FORM" Instead of "FROM" and the error was : from keyword not found.

I always get the c:\ sqlplus / as sysdba wrong. I always type sql pus 😂.

One less thing to worry about without from dual. Loving 23c!
