Where to find Ashina Depths (The Bottomless Hole clue) Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

There's a few grapple points you can grab in the bottomless hole so your path might be slightly different. Just make sure to hit one or you'll fall and take damage

Thanks bro, I found it myself first playthrough, but when it was time to do it again in NG+ I totally forgot where it was. Can’t believe I ran past that area without seeing it like 10 times smh💀

This video did not help me much at all so in case it helps the next person:

1) From the Ashina Reservoir idol, cross the gap as if you're moving towards the locked Gatehouse to fetch the broken spear horn but instead of staying in the area just past the first gap, run past the Scout and his alarm gong towards a ledge. To the right of the ledge you can grapple to reach where you began the game, in a hole. Skip the first entrance used in this video because...
2) in that hole, NOT seen in this video, is a Lone Shadow Longswordsman standing on the spot where you started the game. If you enter from the second hole farther back, you can perform a stealth drop-deathblow. Mikir Counter his Kick / thrust attack and cheese the mans' posture bar with a regular Loaded Axe for an easy win
4) Speaking to the Crone who tells you to cast yourself in the pit, look at the direction her hand is pointing (down and directly in front of her). THAT's where you want to be looking to not miss the grapple prompt. If you miss you just appear back at the top to try again
5) The idol at the end of the video is the Ashina Depths warp, but in the room you emerge into you can cross the poison pools with some grappling and on the far side of the room behind a lil curve, is the Poison Pool idol which is perfect because there's a miniboss in this room.

Oh my god. I've beaten this game 4 times and I've never gotten to Ashina Depths this way. I found that idol in the depths before in my first NG+ run. But, every time I've ever gone to Ashina Depths, I always went through the sunken valley, poison swamp, serpent cave route. I never knew you could get there by just yeeting yourself off the cliff after the sichimin warrior. Wow...
