This episode was my favorite. Absolutely INCREDIBLE writing. Every scene felt tense and complex with each character hiding behind their fears.

I loudly gasped in awe when the convo between Mothma and her friend ended. The joy to have witnessed such a nuanced interaction, seamlessly integrated and the "banter" between the two. It was silky smooth, what a joy!

PS: The dude in Andor's flashback is I think the "father" figure, it was the same partner of the Mother when they picked him up as a kid.

Best Star Wars since Empire EASILY. It is so damn good. So well written, directed, acted, and produced! It's amazing. The background on Mon Mothma has been worth the price of admission alone. I am loving every single aspect of this series. Give me more Star Wars at this calibre. I wish the sequel trilogy had been HALF as good as this. This series is showing what the prequels was desperately trying to achieve. The politics angle of this series is so well written. George Lucas had no idea how to write a story about politics and machinations. This is how you do it.

This show is great. To me it still feels like Star Wars but a different part of the Star Wars universe that we don’t usually see. So many great character interactions in this episode. Love Mon Mothma.

what a frigin episode. I never rewind scenes when I'm watching something for the first time, but I had to immediately watch the scene with Luthen and Mon Mothma again. the way her lips shake when she says, "Do you realize what you've done?".... crazy good

Man I am seriously digging this show. All of the empire/rebellion stuff and how they rebels are essentially forcing palpatine to move to that dictatorship faster is just awesome. The infighting with the ISB officers. It’s so good. I hope they keep adding more empire stuff, I just can’t get enough of it.

I believe Clem is his adoptive father, the same guy who was with his adoptive mother in the flash back scene when they first found Cassian. I believe that’s who was also hanging. Cuz remember Luthen tells Cassian he knows that they hung his father in the streets.

During the ISB conference when Meero got the upper hand on Blevins and the Major gave oversite of Ferrix to Meero, I audible said "Oh man!" I love this show.

The scenes with Mon at the event and the Empire meeting are straight out of episodes of The Americans, I was super happy Stephen Schiff brought some of that over. Looking forward to what is next.

Each episode just gets better and better. Best Star Wars since the OT and it truly has the grit of A New Hope.

This episode was SO DENSE. Maybe denser than any episode yet! I paused and rewound at least four or five times just to make sure I was catching details right. This is actually what I do in books often, because my ability to focus just works that way. And that's how I know how well written this thing is -- I pause, I go back, I realize it all just makes such complete sense and fits so well.

First of all, it felt like there were maybe three or four episodes worth of stories happening at once here, and they all tied together. It was like episode 5 on steroids. There's Luthen -- what the hell is he up to? He's clearly in deep in ways that Mon Mothma is only just now learning. Is Kleya forwarding his agenda, by instructing Vel to kill Andor? Or is Kleya pushing her own agenda in some way? I'm DYING to know more about both Kleya and Luthen. Either way, Vel seems both surprised and skeptical of the idea. Also, they appear to know exactly what Cinta is up to. Which itself is a thread that's still smoldering...

There's Syril, who's getting the cubicle job! This whole thing was just stunning looking, and fitting for him. But the news of Aldhani -- you can see how it injects life and passion into his eyes, despite how he's trapped in his career for now.

Maarva! She's inspired by the Aldhani robbery! And she's sinking her seeds of thought and passion and rebellion into Andor, and through their debate we see huge character development in both. Andor remembers his past as an impassioned child, in spite of his present day resignation to the status quo.

Bix was so nuanced, too. Angry at Andor, and a proxy to the rest of the town's anger. But still cares about him, you can see it in her eyes as she allows some warmth into her last words of "be careful, Cas."

Also, there was Niamos. _How freaking gorgeous_ was this whole scene? And so meaningful! Just such a perfect way to see Palpatine's grip tighten, and sweep up the innocent (and not-so-innocent) into deeper control. I assume now Cassian has lost access to his wealth (and weapons)? Also, I wonder if he was sold out by his new "friends."

There was also just :chefkiss: scenes and world building with the ISB, and the perfect cameo of Wolff freaking Yularen as well as a reference to Palpatine. And probably the most thrilling conversation I've witnessed in a long time during Mon Mothma's party as she deftly recruits Tay. I'm overwhelmed with how much was in this episode! It was just perfect vignette after perfect vignette of what is happening in this galaxy, and I felt everything changing -- I can tell the profound impacts of the last episode's events, and how it reverberates in ways both small and huge.

Can't wait to dig into your reactions, and the discussion in Sith Council!

This show is not only a phenomenal Star Wars show but a phenomenal Sci/fi show I absolutely loved the Mon mothma continuation in this but had a tear in my eye when Maarva Andor was telling cass Ian that she loved him and will never run away from the empire..such a great building episode for the next direction of the series, and was so happy to see the loose ends tied up, also was so pleased to see Dedra Meero finally get her recognition..I just love the character study in in this 🎥💛👌Best stars written content since The Empire Strikes back & A New Hope another great world building episode

I've never felt more immersed in Star Wars. Something about the way they set up these environments is really amazing... they feel real and completely believable. The scene between Mon and her friend was really enjoyable and I rewatched the ISB meeting scene multiple times, so so good.

I love this show! I'm a big MCU fan. But I have to say HOD and Andor has been phenomenal!!! When Mon Mothra kept reminding the banker to smile... I loved it!! That they called back to "this sentence used to be 6 months" and it's 6 years because the Empire is choking their civilians. Finding out Clem was his father figure, and Maarva won't leave because of what Andor just pulled off, oh it was all so GOOD!!

This episode was so freaking good. The intensity was so thick. It really felt like his Bourne stuff. The secret meetings and covert conversations. I loved every single minute of this episode. Some of it has been a bit slow, but it all works together to make a beautiful story. I'm enjoying it a lot.

The show has been slow - or perhaps a better description would be deliberate and focused. The writing and directing is nothing less than superb and the production values are excellent. This is high, high quality stuff, it may not be absolutely action packed but the character development, the exploration of the inner workings of the Empire and the chaotic beginnings of the rebel revolution are being portrayed in such an in depth realistic manner it’s fascinating. For what it is and intended to be its just incredible. I think this is an example of what can happen if you let a proven talented creator Gilroy bring his vision to life without any meddling from corp execs. The acting is incredible and the dialogue is really intelligently written - just great stuff. The casting choices also absolutely on point - excellent.

I think both Breaking Bad and GOT started with small audiences. Andor will see an audience build up.

Loving Mon Mothma so far. Funny, I figured she could have easily been the most boring and stuffy aspect of the show, but she’s clearly showing how smart and capable she is. Can’t wait until she finally jumps ship.
