This piece depicts the romantic passion of people everywhere. I hear strains of “Love Me Tender” throughout it. Thank you Zoltan Kodaly.

I love the verbunk at 3:43. It's very similar to a West Slovak folk song. Not surprising, since Slovakia was Upper Hungary for so many years. The song is called "Hromy bijú" and was recorded by Anton Gajdoš on his album "Pred muzikú". I think you can still find it on YT.

Between 7:30 and 8:00 minutes on this recording listen carefully and you'll hear the theme from Moon River.

I heard this today on KDFC, a San Francisco Classical Music station and very much enjoyed it! Thank you for posting it here! Would love to hear the SF Symphony do this piece.
