This is pretty cool, I didn't know you can mix and match on AT&T's unlimited plans and still get a multi-line discount. I started my own contract switching from StraightTalk which I had for a year, but my immediate family and my grandma are all on one plan. They did switch to Unlimited Elite, but I'm not sure if they know you can do that. My grandma barely uses any data but it would be disrespectful to downgrade her.

I am on a grandfathered plan 6GB + 4GB = 10GB for $36 add on $20 a line plus $8.99 Insurance 4 lines = $169.93 but I’m suppose to get $35 off each month so I’m wondering should I switch my plan

People question if they should switch old plans to this. The older plans do not provide 5g access and im not sure about 1080p streaming or not since that's pretty new in plans. Most old ones had a standard 1080p streaming

Something I don't understand is why do we have to pay for hotspot data. Smartphones are capable of using their data plan for tethering, so what's the rationale for having to pay for a hot spot (extra data)? Could you explain this please.

I have the elite plan, and honestly it's worth the price. HBO max, 30gb hotspot, etc.

When they give the same 100G on the hotspot as the line I might become intetested. But then, their reception sucks unless you are in a town or major road.

Do you remember the att $15 prepaid plan back in March? If you got it then was it permanent? I asked the rep and they said only temporary and would roll over to more expensive plan after a couple of months. If not true they lied and I’m pissed.

Can someone help me figure out the difference between prepaid and post paid? Prepaid is paying for the phone outright and deprioritized data, and post paid is monthly payments with prioritized data? Also I have grandfathered 450 rollover with unlimited data and text with AT&T. 450 with rollover is 39.99. Data unlimited for iPhone on 4g LTE with VVM is $45.00, and unlimited messaging is $20.00. With taxes and minus my discount of $18.70 my monthly bill is $106.90. I’m trying to figure out how much it would cost for the unlimited extra or unlimited elite after taxes and autopay discount. (From what I understand my current discount will no longer apply if I change to one of these plans) Thanks

Didn't AT&T copy Verizon with their "Mix and Match" plans? Verizon allows customers to mix and match family plans too.
