How to Downgrade MikroTik RouterOS and Firmware Properly

MikroTik RouterOS is in constant development and new features or bug fixes are frequently available, sometimes even monthly. So, it is always recommend upgrading MikroTik RouterOS to a latest and stable version before beginning any configuration. But sometimes you may face that the upgraded version is not working properly according to your demand or you may upgrade to a new version that you don’t want. In this case, you should come back to your workable RouterOS version and firmware. Upgrading RouterOS and Firmware is so easy but downgrading RouterOS may be more difficult if you don’t know the proper guideline. So, in this video I will show how to downgrade MikroTik RouterOS and Firmware with step by step guideline.

Hi friend, thanks you for the video, I want downgrade LHG 5 with firmware 6.45.9 to 6.44.6, I did your recomend and the results are: in System\Resources show Version and Factory software 6.44.6, it's ok; but in System\RouterBoard continue Factory Firmware and Current Firmware in 6.45.9 and Upgrade Firmware in 6.44.6 after of do click in Upgrade and Reboot the device. You think I need check other items the configuration. Is posible that you have a different procedure for downgrade LHG 5 with 6.45.9. Thanks for you respond.

Hey Bro... Sometimes ago i tried this method it works. but now it don't work. i have v6.47.8 Stable on my device and now i want to downgrade but it don't get downgrade. my out of box device version is v6.45.8 stable and then i upgrade the router to v6.47.8 and now i want to downgrade but it don't. Solutoin please. i follow every method but after uploading file then i click on downgrade and the router automatically reboot after reboot nothing happen. no downgrade ...solution please.
