Sensex and nifty are dangerous and misleading because they are basically momentum indeces and they don’t show a true picture of what’s happening in the market.

This is misleading … becos if this is winners index/momentum index then it should always goes up. Instead its a concentrated index with diff weighted position. Nifty just tracks top 50 companies with respect to market cap.
