Golden Powder Rocket Propellant

Golden powder static thrust test concluded 2.54 kg thrust using 13 grams of rocket propellant made with Potassium Nitrate & Ascorbic Acid with a clay nozzle & plug in a length of 19mm polyethylene irrigation tube cut to 75mm, wrapped with ram board brown paper tape with a finished width of 21mm.

This mix is very quick to make & great for rocket motors as the thrust produced per weight compared to black powder is very noticeable. I made two identical motors, one black powder & the other golden powder, both with even amounts of bentonite clay for the nozzle & plug. For the past week i've been making standard rocket engines with the case dimensions 75mm x 21mm using Black Powder until i gave this golden powder a try, the composition is hygroscopic but even when moist, the energy produced during decomposition stays constant & only ignition seems to be affected.
