Mark Holcomb of Periphery on the ProTone Haunted Delay Pedal

Here's a quick demo and walkthrough of my signature delay pedal, the Haunted Delay by ProTone Pedals.
For this video, I ran the pedal in front of my Fractal AxeFX II, on a basic clean preset. The riffs I'm jamming on aren't really anything Periphery related, just parts I wrote mainly to showcase the pedal (aside from the bit of 'Luck as a Constant'). One thing I neglected to showcase in the video was the slight note-crunching effect in some of the longer delay settings (you can hear it somewhat in the first clip), similar to a vintage tape delay effect.

Our intention in designing the Haunted Delay was to create an ambient-style, analog tape delay pedal that was dynamic enough to handle the material I write and play, while also having a stripped-down, stylish interface. It's primarily been a songwriting tool since we started prototyping it, as it was designed to suit both ambient and distorted tones. I love vintage analog delays and I while I have so many good digital delays to choose from in the AxeFx, there's something very ear-catching and inspiring about a great analog delay.

Other gear used in this vid:
PRS Custom 24 (Obsidian)
Zilla Cabs 2 x 12 Fatboy
D'Addario strings and Planet Waves cables

Mark, you really need to incorporate the part from 3:18 into a Periphery song in the future!!

I've never described something before that I feel to be such a deep comment but the chord sequence/riff you play at 3:18 feels as though it speaks to my soul. It is so beautiful and I cannot stop listening to it, even a year later. You have already been a huge influence to myself and the music I write but I have never been so honoured to hear something that resonates so perfectly with me. Thank you Mark.

Hey Mark, Your playing is so inspiring to me. I put my guitar down a couple years ago because i just wasn't improving and every song seemed to run together. You and the guys in periphery have really given me a new look on playing and i can never get enough of it. Thank you so much.

Mark Holcomb, you are such a great help to me. I remember at a time I couldn't write anything. I was in what you call a "rut". I decided to mix up my tuning and I started writing faster than ever. You fascinate me with the way you play, making you my definite favorite guitarist. I hope I meet you one day, to shake your hand and thank you for making me the guitarist I am today. Rock on Mark.

Ahhh, PRSs are so beautiful. Especially that one. What always gets me are the Ebony boards and how clean and sheen they are. Wonderful!

I've come back to this video constantly since it first came out just to hear that hauntingly beautiful riff at the end

The infinite repeat mode was pretty much the selling point back when I bought a Line 6 DL4, this is a worthy contender and the tape delay sounds really musical. Adding this to the bucket list!

As dumb a question as this is, can anyone tab out or just slightly describe a few of the chords he's using? I thought i was decent at guitar until I fell in love with Periphery and now I feel like i just picked it up yesterday
