Katrysha's Story: Surviving a Sudden Cardiac Arrest

Without warning, Katrysha Gellis suffered from a sudden cardiac arrest at work at the age of thirty years old. Thanks to the quick action of her friends, she survived.

Since she was given a second chance at life, Katrysha dedicated herself to teaching others the power of saving a life.

Katrysha is sharing her story as part of the McGill World Restart a Heart Campaign, a global initiative that aims to empower individuals to respond to a cardiac arrest.
