Making them homemade will always make them less sweet than store bought! Vanilla bean paste in it gives it an amazing taste rather than just regular vanilla and add a little salt! My favorite is the ones Starbucks used to carry that had chunks of marshmallows in it. But i don't support them anymore so im not sure if they carry them but i believe they were vegan and gluten free

See my problem is I /love/ extra gooey rice krispies, like way more marshmallow to krispy ratio, but I can't handle the sweetness either. I'm still trying to figure out how to make less sweet marshmallows so I can accomplish my dream!!
