Does somebody know if it is possible to create OData API, plain HTTP API e.g. REST or SOAP API as we can do in the s/4hana on-premise in the cloud as well? What i have seen is that we can use the CDS view to create the OData API but only for reading. But how to create API for manipulating the data e.g. doing CRUD operation. Also what is not clear is which authentication method is to use to secure the API e.g. the classical basic authentication, Client Certificate or OAuth 2?
