Would you like some practical advice on how to get in front of the camera and be fly (awesome)?

If you want to conquer the lens, you need to know exactly what you're up against. Most people are taken by surprise by a villain they never suspected was lurking only inches away.

Find out who that "villain" is, how to conquer him, and how to have a lot of fun in the process, resulting in a comfortable performance that attracts your just-right audience.

Positively spiritual! I love it! Thanks! And I had heard about that "comfort zone" ages ago. You've given me new perspective on it that has me excited. (My ego is a bit beside himself, though.)

Nice work, Steven. You got me out of the primal comfort zone and I just recorded my first talking head YouTube video. Far from perfect, but the longest journey begins with a single step. I borrowed ReelSEO's idea of getting started by vlogging one of your blog posts.

Ahaha, this was entertaining and informative, thank you. I want to do Let's Plays but I'm not so great at acting natural in front of a camera, so thank you.

It's an interesting point. The ego wants to keep you safe, but going in front of a camera rears no physical threat? So why does the ego prevent you from doing stuff like that? Well, I thought about it, and while the camera isn't a physical threat, it is a threat to the person's emotional and mental well-being. After all, they could be criticized, and that would hurt them. And if their psyche is hurt enough, that does present possible physical threats. So in that way, perhaps that is why the ego tries to protect ourselves from getting hurt by others... by hurting ourselves. A vicious circle.

Hi Steven, You talked about energy level and also presented on how to raise it. However, throughout your video you seemed to be keeping your energy level normal and still be extremely effective. I always thought I must talk fast, loud, yell like the anchors on the TV show to be more effective. But your style is different and awesome. Well... kudos to you and your style. One important point : Did you mug up the script you used in this video - line by line or did an extempore ?
