Thank you! It seems to me we can say about stages of enlightenment only in the context of 7 chakra. If the life energy begin to flow along the numerous "channels-nadi" (70 000), 50 leafs of 7 chakras you can experience a samadhi. In Zen tradition masters speak about sudden "satori". Anyway it will be correct to say that enlightenment is a long way where there is a point of no return.

Erroneous assumptions:
1. Everyone's path is essentially the same.
2. The path is a linear, ordered progression.

The mind, or the left brain at least, loves its neat and tidy lists, craves order, homogeny, simplicity; hates chaos, unpredictability, variation. There is Reality as it is, and there is what the mind would like reality to be.
