The red part is the BEST part of the apartment!! *gasping*. It goes perfectly with the rug!
If you still dislike it, I’d say put more things on top of it that you LOVE.. to distract you from the color and to not have it be that negative corner in your place. If you decide to keep what you already have on it, then move away any statement piece from its space, so people’s eye dont go directly to it as they come in

I think the stove is really beautiful. you can take attention away from the red by putting a light blond wood shelf unit beside it on that wall. something that doesnt come to far out from the wall, but is at least 4 feet high. Style it with the colors of your living room and it should help to draw the colors from the rest of the room over to that side. The rug ties in beautifully with the stove. Good choice there. You could put a Large mirror on that side too, to reflect the rest of the room onto that wall. or a gallery of mirrors to draw some attention away from the stove. DO NOT Paint It.

I really love the red stove. It is a nice shade of red. It is a nice surprise to the overall room but stoll "goes". It would be a shame to change it. Embrace it.

I also really like the red stove. It goes well with the carpet and gives a nice pop of colour.
When it comes to the artwork on the TV: it looks really great and hides the fact that it's a TV but it also means that the TV is always on...
