Simon is a good example of "The abused can be abusers". It's not right, but often in cases like his, they feel their past hurt justifies their horrific actions.

What's sad is Hazel perfectly reflects a child seeing grown ups fight. Its hurts and it scary especially for a child

Grace just found out that everything she believed about the conductor is wrong...and she’s taking the news surprisingly well. Better than Simon, for sure.
I’m thoroughly impressed by Grace’s character arc.

Kinda ironic when you think about it. He strives to increase his number to show his strength when it really just shows how incredibly weak his is as a person. I mean, he didn’t even have the strength to accept that he was wrong, he just acted like a big baby and rejected reality like he was some kind of god. Talk about pathetic

Fun fact: One of the show writers for infinity train describes Simon as a clinical narcissist.

He absolutely cannot stand to be wrong so he rewrites everything in his head.

"I'm always right there for anyone who disagrees with me is wrong, And if I'm always right literally all my actions are justifiable."

But she also said that clinical narcissists are also very caring provided that you live by their rules. And if they are physically abusive they are the type to say: "Why do you make me hit you?"

Which is why when Simon said to Grace "I liked what we had, But you made me do this."

That's an example of him refusing to take responsibility for his actions and blaming the fact that he was doing them on another person because he absolutely refused to believe that he was doing anything wrong.

Hence why he is a clinical narcissist.

Finally, finally. FI.NA.LLY!! About time these two learned the truth, especially Simon. I’m sorry, but every now and again people need a major wake up call in order to grow up. It hurst, sure, but it builds character.

I was really looking forward to this moment, mainly because I wanted to see grace and simon's reaction to finding out their cause was built on lies. But, at the same time i still feel bad for them, Amelia kinda makes fun of them for not knowing the truth, but its still Amelia's fault because she took over the train while they were on it and most likley didnt bother to provide them or any other passengers with information on why their on the train in the first place.

Man you can hear Simon's boot straining and cracking under the pressure, the same boot the breaks and almost gets him killed.

I love that Amelia didn’t so much as blink when Simon tries to deck her.
