Colourpop CANCELS Kathleen Lights Collab Palette – DRAMA!

Colourpop Cosmetics released an eyeshadow palette called You Had Me At Hello. The palette name was placed onto the palette via a sticker. It was discovered that the sticker was used to cover the name of a Kathleen Lights collaboration palette that was cancelled. Did Colourpop Cosmetics drop Kathleen from their collaboration?

Here's another theory, after the Jacyln Hill scandal, they were too far along with production to simply scrap it and start over. They were possibly sitting on a metric fucktonne of palettes for a couple of months while coming up with an economical way of salvaging the potential loss.

Kathleen and CP decided to go with Dream Street instead of Lumina. It’s simple really...Id rather them recycle the palette then just scrap them. I mean I got it for free in my boxycharm 🤷🏻‍♀️

Honestly, i don’t think they cancelled Lumina, I think Kathleen wasn’t too happy with the Palette and then dropped Dream St instead cause Kathleen wanted something she was more proud of, I haven’t watched the video yet but this is what I actually think happened

This is such over blown drama. Not necessarily from Mango Tea, but all the comments he showed. I HIGHLY doubt there’s any drama between KC and CP, she’s worked with them since she had 200k subscribers. Also please don’t buy this palette thinking you’re getting a palette she scrapped... I am almost positive that Lumina was just the old name for Dream St and she changed it so they reused that packaging for their next release.

Maybe Kathleen didn't like the way the palette had turned out but Colourpop did, so they offered her to do her own collection aka the Dream one, and released the Lumina palette without her name on it. No need for drama
