Thanks for this was considering going from asus g14 2020 with ryzen 4800hs and gtx 1660 ti to asus g16 with 13620H cpu and 4050 gpu. It looks like its about 50-60% improvement but not sure if its worth it as the g14 can still run a lot of stuff pretty well and the longer i wait the bigger the upgrade

Do i need to get a better laptop considering I also have a desktop I dont think so I have a desktop with a rx 6800 and a laptop with 1660 ti :) that can still run everything on 1080p bought the laptop for 500 USD and GPU for 400USD!

I wouldn't call this exactly a fair comparison, because the laptops have very different cpus and ram, which helps the rex 4050 laptop quite a lot more. But it is very clear to see how far laptop gaming has come.
