I got hooked up to a lie detector and my friends were able to ask me anything they wanted....and my mom was one of them. This was the WORST idea I've had in a while

Fun fact: the guy who invented the polygraph would later go on to be one of the biggest advocates against the use of polygraphs when he figured out they don't actually work.

Just making sure people know, a lie detector is more of a stress detector, someone hooked one up to a plant and thought that it was lying instead of something else

Just letting everyone know, these are pretty much just for jokes. Lie detectors dont really work! they just detect when you're nervous/anxiety, so doesnt really count. Like if they actually worked, they'd use them in court right? Makes sense. But these are still very funny, and can slightly guess if someones lying or not.

Fyi "John" doesn't do legit lie detector test. He's an entertainer first and foremost so he'll often signal what's funny and not what's correct. That's why he does polygraph tests for every creator.

Also, polygraphs aren't reliable at all, that's why they're inadmissible in court. So if law enforcement ever tries to bully you into taking one, just refuse.
