This video demonstrates how to use our NK-100 capsule filling machines. The machine allows you to quickly position, fill and seal up to 100 capsules in one go. There is also a 400-at-a-time model available which works by the same principal, the NK-400.

Each machine works with one capsule size (5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0, 00, 000).

I suggest doing your filling over a large piece of foil. the foil can be scraped near clean, fold a crease in the foil, then you can tap the foils collected excess powder back into your herb container. near nothing lost.

just a tip from a new learner: make sure the capsule size (0, 00, etc) matches the machine/plate size of the one you're buying. I had 0 capsules and a 00 machine and had to swap[ them out.

Does the tray somehow orient the capsule halves correctly so they are pointing uniformly in the correct direction? What keeps them from dropping into the holes with randomness, some pointing up and others downward?

How do you prevent squashing of bottom of a capsules? I have 400 holes machine, and there are a lot of capsules squashed at the bottom.

This is what the tamper is for. By compressing the ingredients you remove air bubbles and make it even.

In some cases you may want to use a bulking agent such as microcrystalline cellulose if the ingredient needs to be diluted.
