The “entire” statue you see is a reconstruction or model, not the original complete statue. The original Colossal Statue of Constantine I is known primarily through its surviving fragments. These include the head, a hand, part of the forearm, and a knee, which are displayed in the Courtyard of the Palazzo dei Conservatori in the Capitoline Museums. The reconstructed or imagined version of the statue provides a visual representation of how the complete statue might have looked based on these surviving pieces and historical records.
