Shingo Sato Masterclass at Burgo Indonesia ~ part1

For the first time, the master of Transformational Reconstruction (TR) technique from Japan, Shingo Sato @tr_cutting_school is here in Indonesia to share his knowledge. In collaboration with Istituto at Moda Burgo Indonesia, Sato held a three-day workshop from 5-7 July 2023, at The Plaza Office Tower, Jakarta.

During his visit to Jakarta, especially Burgo Indonesia, Shingo Sato admitted that he was very happy to be able to share new knowledge with the participants who took part in the Shingo Sato Masterclass.

On the first day, they learned the TR Draping technique and the TR Cutting Dress technique. Then continued on the second day with the Origami technique and Bamboo technique. Ended the third day with Origami Seamed and Origami Reticulated techniques.

In practice, Shingo Sato also tries to apply his best techniques to traditional Indonesian fabrics or materials, such as the Lubuklinggau Durian Batik and Batak Ulos. The result is very impressive.
