I have a friend who is an oil market and owns filling stations in 3 states. He is always happy during fuel scarcity. They make far more money during scarcity, he did the calculation for me and said he can make more money in a month of scarcity than he will make in 1 year. The corruption in the oil industry in Nigeria is unimaginable. That’s why they all don’t want Dangote. They are most probably trying to get as much before Dangote refinery starts producing PMS.

What is the point of having the biggest refinery in Africa and yet Nigerians have to suffer for the debt created by some corrupt politicians. Even though I don’t reside in the country, but I feel the sufferings of Nigerians. Why is it that African leaders are so wicked to the people they’re meant to protect and govern with good heart. The sufferings in
Nigeria currently is just unbearable for most Nigerians. The only way forward is revolution and change of constitution to either true federalism or Parliamentary system. Each states should control their own resources so that people can be held accountable and they should states policing.
