Still scoring hits in 2020s since 1970s is just too impressive even for a living legend.

It’s impressive that his second ever chart entry is one of his most remembered songs to this day but it left the hot 100 so quickly

Glad I was a kid in the 70's during the height of Elton-Mania!....I'll never forget seeing him at my first 'Rock' concert in Sept 1976 as a 17 year old at Madison Sq Garden,

I want to say that Elton John had a top 40 hit for something like 30 consecutive years.

I'm getting emotional and a little teary eyed hearing all of his amazing songs knowing that Elton John has been a part of my life forever. A class act, a true legend and a force to be reckoned with. There will never, ever be another artist like Elton John ever again. I especially teared up during "Candle In the Wind 97" but I love both of his "Lion King" songs ("Circle of Life" is absolutely beautiful) but I especially love his song "Sacrifice" which is an underrated gem that came out in 1990. This was one of my Grandpa's favorite songs and was played at his funeral. My grandpa loved Elton John.

I'm in Tampa, and when he came to my city, his concert was sold out ASAP and tickets were going for $200 a pop. Even if his songs didn't reach number 1 or stay on the chart, he's still super popular after all of these years.

It’s amazing how consistently he made the Top 40 over the course of nearly 30 years. Only a few singles missed being hits.

A good friend sent this link to me on my smartphone and I am appreciating EJ's genius through 52 years on my PC. This is well done and much appreciated. His brilliance and sustainability in music is in a class of its own.

Cold Heart is a phenomenon lol, can’t wait to see how ‘Hold Me Closer’ does in the long run since it seems to have started nicely

Wow, this is really great. I love graphics. I hope you are able to add in the latest Tiny Dancer remix if it fits your criteria.

Always found it interesting that established artists were doing well in 92, 93 but by 96 and 97 their songs seemed to struggle to connect with the general public
