How to use Blooming Gel nail art tutorial

This is The Gel Bottle Inc clear Blooming Gel. Paint on a thin layer then draw on design using regular gel polish and allow to bloom before curing.

I don't understand why people spend $ on "blooming gel", get the same effect by putting an uncured layer of base gel polish over top the first colour (in this case the white layer) then using another colour (pink in this case) on on top of the uncured base layer, it will have the same effect of spreading the colour.

Did you cure the white layer first and then do blooming gel with the color?

Can I please ask. Are you curing that final layer of white before adding the blooming gel? If so, I would like to see influencers stating that in the text on the video. I just used a black base & cured it then went in with a bloom gel & my next layer hardly spread at all. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I froze my design with a cure because it hardly bloomed. How long does the bloom take because going off the hundreds of shorts & videos I’ve watched it seems it’s very fast.

I have the gel bottle has been mislabeling their ingredient amounts. I don’t think I’ll be using it.
