Managed to catch DMB at Plaza of Nations May 13, 1998 - small outdoor venue - what a treat. Carter is great at playing busy, somewhat complicated patterns while keeping a rock solid groove.

I came back to this, and all I can wonder is, did the audio come out of the monitor mix?

This is a raw camera feed sent to the house video TD. Not every shot is perfect, because the cameraman is trying to set up shots that can be mixed into the stage and audience video screens. It is not a true "Carter Cam" in the sense of "Under the Table and Drumming". Also, if you notice, the audio feed is Carter's IEM Mix.

I used to like Vic Firth but started using Pro Mark 5A Nylon and love them.

@yuribgsf Was just about to say, most of the people talking about the cameraman... have you ever been to a DMB experience? (I call it an experience because calling it a show or concert doesn't do it justice.) These guys get AMAZING shots for people at them.
